What Is an Intake Session?
An intake session is a 45 minute to 1 hour conversation designed to explore what brings you here today and how I may support you on your journey. This session can take place online or in person, depending on your availability and preference.
It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process, how I work, and what to expect from the experience. Together, we will discuss your concerns, goals, and hopes, as well as address any fears or uncertainties you may have about therapy with me.

What to Expect in Our First Session?
You can expect a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. During our time together, we will:
• Discuss your current needs and explore what might help.
• Provide clarity on my approach to therapy and how I work with clients.
• Answer any questions you have about the process, including what therapy and healing might look like for you.
My goal is to ensure you feel informed, heard, and supported as we decide whether working together is the right fit for your needs.
What Happens After the Intake Session?
If we decide to move forward together, I will guide you through the next steps to establish our therapeutic relationship. This includes completing the following forms:
• Consent Form
• Therapeutic Alliance Contract
• Health History Form
These documents will be explained thoroughly to ensure you feel confident and comfortable as we begin our work together.
I’m here to support you every step of the way!
